EDITORS CHOICE
This blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 15% Syrah and 5% Petit Verdot is flat out fun to drink. While its black-cherry-soda and No. 2 pencil aromas might take you back to grade-school days, the heady combination of tobacco and curacao might remind you of an old dorm room. There's also a wet slate aroma that could take you anywhere. Flavors of icy blackberry sorbet and cocoa nibs join forces with a touch of coffee. The wine's soft smooth texture is matched by a sense of balance, with plush tannins and modest acidity.
Wine Tasting Notes
A multi-layered blend with intense aromatics and flavors of red currants, black cherries, dark chocolate and oak spice. The Nine Hats Columbia Valley Red Blend has a wonderfully rich yet refined texture and mouthfeel. Cabernet Sauvignon from the Benches Vineyard at Wallula in the Horse Heaven Hills provides a sturdy backbone and long, pure finish.
