Peanut butter holds a unique and beloved place in America’s heart. You can see the near-obsession with peanut butter in any American grocery store. Look across their aisles and you’ll find classics from peanut butter and jelly to chocolate peanut butter cups, to peanut butter cake and ice cream, and more recent developments like peanut butter beer. With all these peanut butter products, it is a wonder why this beloved ingredient has yet to find its way into some whiskey, an equally beloved American product. The union seems perfect. Both products are born out of the great American farming tradition and are results of American innovation. Both are decadent treats suitable for almost all ages. Why haven’t they come together yet?
They have!
With the unveiling of Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey, these two flavors come together in an exciting new way. This whiskey is full of peanut butter flavor and has one of the most faithful peanut butter flavors available. However Skrewball does it, the rich peanut butter flavor bursts through with every sip, giving the impression that peanut butter was a key component in the distilling process. The toasted sweetness of the peanut butter really mellows out the whiskey and guarantees smooth sipping with every glass. The whiskey provides a classic bourbon-esque flavor profile that plays on the nuttiness of the peanut butter, and at 70 proof, this bottle lends itself to a laid back and forward thinking atmosphere, where Skrewball is great served on the rocks or in a cocktail.
Born in Ocean Beach, a neighborhood in San Diego, California, Skrewball presents itself with all the relaxed and unique beach vibes that southern California is known for.
