Bright straw in color with a slight haze, this wine is characterized by fresh fruit, mineral texture, and barrel complexity. Battonage and sur lees aging result in a texture that resonates through the palate with nice tension and length. Aromas and flavors of apricot, honeysuckle, sweet peaches, brioche, roasted hazelnut, fresh cream and vanilla are very prominent. On the finish there are mineral notes of chalk, flinty wet stone and orange muscat. An extremely elegant and balanced wine.
