Wine Tasting Notes
There is a serious, earthy essence to the wine from Bob's Ranch. In 2019 new winemaking techniques further reveal the site's unique characteristics. A touch of whole cluster fermentation enhances the savory character of the wine, and fermentation in concrete tanks bring out minerality and vibrancy. On the nose, fine aromas of fermented black tea, tilled soil and delicious barrel smoke are reminiscent of Pu'er tea. Dark plum and blackberry flavors are layered on the seamless, plush palate. The delineated structure of the wine builds to a long finish.
