Wine Advocate Review
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon RBS gives beautiful scents of lilacs and dried lavender over wild blueberries, chocolate-covered cherries, blackberry pie and eucalyptus with a touch of pencil shavings. Full-bodied and built like a brick house, it has a solid frame of grainy tannins and plenty of freshness to lift the densely packed, muscular fruit, finishing very long. Drink 2021-2045.
Wine Tasting Notes
The Schrader RBS is a sensory thrill from the first moment, with opulent aromas of ripe red, blue, and black fruits balanced with notes of sweet spice and minerals. On the palate, the wine is decadently plush and inviting with a flavor cadre of cassis, crushed plums, tea leaves, and fine threads of graphite and natural earth. The true essence of Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine is marked by exceptional balance, elegant fruit character, refined tannin structure, and a silky-smooth, velvety finish.
