Placido Chianti is an uncommonly distinguished Chianti produced in the historic Tuscan hills of the delimited Chianti DOCG zone. Ruby red with an intense aroma that hints of violets. Dry and well balanced with black-fruit flavors followed by a long finish.
I'm of Italian decent and would classify the Placido Chianti as a fine dinner table sipping wine at no more than 2 or 3 oz which should never be quaffed. When sipped gently when eating a fine Italian dinner, sipping as you eat leaves a fine after taste on the pallet.3rd Jun 2017
