VinoUS Media Review
Rated 91
The 2021 Syrah (Santa Barbara County) is fabulous. Super-ripe dark cherry, plum, mocha, black pepper, herbs, incense and tobacco all build in this racy, almost shockingly opulent young Syrah. This dense, juicy Syrah is lights out. The 30% stems are pretty much buried by the fruit. Drinking Window 2023-2029. (By Antonio Galloni on July 2023)
Wine Tasting Notes
A blend of signature Santa Barbara County vines, the 2021 PS is intensely savory, textured and a testament to its cool growing season. Production doubled from 2020 with a jump in quality to match. Maple bacon, white pepper, black currant and perfume leap from the glass before squeezing back into a linear, expressive drink of wine - one that navigates Kalamata olive and iodine with lithe, persistent structure.
100% Syrah
Alcohol 13.4%
