Wine Tasting Notes
The Mossback Russian River Pinot Noir is a blend of Russian River Valley fruit sourced from growers that winemaker Dan Cederquist has worked with for over 20 years. A great cherry and ruby red color in the glass leads to inviting aromas of black cherry, cream cola, licorice and vanilla. A soft, silky entry is followed by complex layers of fleshy plum, black cherry and vanilla. The Pinot Noir has a pleasingly long finish with lingering dark fruit and cocoa powder. This is a well-structured wine that is sure to please and will pair exceptionally well with pork and duck dishes.
