Wine Spectator Review
Rated 94
Well-structured and powerful, with an umamilike richness to the raspberry tart and cherry pastry flavors that are backed by firm tannins and fresh acidity. Minerally midpalate, with a finish that's loaded with plenty of savoriness and framed by accents of slate. Drink now through 2026.
Wine Tasting Notes
The attractive garnet color is classic Russian River, and so is the nose of black cherry, sassafras and a hint of pomegranate. The elegant oak contributes notes of clove and sandalwood, perfectly integrated with the fruit. The mouthfeel is round and engaging, classic Pinot Noir, with a note of lively spice at the end. The finish is long and the wine shows great aging potential.
