James Suckling Review
Rated 94
The aromas are juicy and minerally with an umami, seaweed, and iron character. Medium-bodied and it opens up on the palate with firm and chewy tannins, yet they are fine at the end. Lots of minerality in the finish. Chewy now but will soften beautifully. Better after 2026.
Wine Tasting Notes
Kosta Browne Cerise Vineyard Anderson Valley Pinot Noir has a rustic, natural elegance with layers of herbs de Provence, pine, lavender, and earth. A medley of red and black cherry is encompassed by zesty blood-orange flavors that give it deep, soulful character. Fermented in stainless steel, concrete, and oak, then patiently aged for 18 months, it is a wine of uncommon nuance. Intensely satisfying.
