James Suckling Review
Plums, cherry stones, button mushrooms, white pepper and bark on the nose. Lemon and cardamom too. Medium-bodied with vibrant acidity and fine, powdery tannins. Savory. Drink now or hold.
Wine Tasting Notes
Felsina Berardenga Chianti Classico DOCG shows a deep, attractive ruby red color. Elegantly fruity nose, with marked scents of wild red berries foregrounding nuances of mixed spices. The palate, too, shows excellent fruit supported by judicious tannins. Lengthy finish.
This wine is deep and balanced. deep fruits like berries are present and balanced by the tannins. Very nice.14th Mar 2019
