The 2019 Covert Cabernet Sauvignon Black Label oers serious intensity and concentration in a decidedly amboyant style for Coombsville, but it all works. Super-ripe red fruit, cinnamon, blood orange and spice. This inky, deep Cabernet has so much to oer. It will be even better in another year or two, once it sheds just a bit of baby fat. Drinking Window 2025-2037.

The landmark vintage delivers rich, sleek Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon in its full glory. The nose promises blackcurrant aromas with notes of damp earth, wild myrtle and a hint of volcanic minerality. On the palate, these aromatics expand into a kaleidoscope of juicy black and purple berries, swirling black raspberries with boysenberries and black cherries, and warm notes of cedar and tobacco. Smooth, lithe tannins support the abundant fruit with graphite minerality, and guide the wine into an extraordinarily long finish of sweet clove, blackberries and fresh brown sugar.
