Wine Tasting Notes
The Gewrztraminer is one of our favorites. It is incredibly rich on the palate, with smooth ripe apricot and kumquat flavors that are enhanced by balanced acidity and a minimum of residual sugar (barely 0.3%). The aromatics of this young wine are absolutely stunning, suggesting lychee, carnation and cardamom, and as our experience with Gewrztraminer has shown, we expect this wine to develop more intensity in the bottle over the next 18-24 months.
