From a selection among the oldest vines of the vineyard, this wine is ripe and spicy. Polished wood-aging flavors give some toastiness although that is absorbed by the warm black-currant fruits. Drink this wine from mid-2021.

Beautiful dark red garnet color. A nice nose of very ripe fruits with subtle spicy notes.The mouth is round and elegant, followed by a long aftertaste with subtle tannins.
With its notes of red fruit and its freshness, Chateau Cleyrac is best served now or within 3 years at 60-65ºF, with grilled beef, roasted lamb, and cheese pastas
50% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon
