Winemaking goes to the dogs! Our beloved Soft-coated Wheaten Terrier Ty, also know as "Big Guy", spent many faithful years welcoming guests to the winery. Whether walking through vineyards to inspect grapes or in the barrel room cleaning out barrels prepping for the next vintage, Ty was always happily by our side. His high-spirited presence was guaranteed to make any day that much better. Sadly, Big Guy has left us. As a tribute to his memory, and all of the beloved four-legged friends that have gone before him, an unwavering wine was created to keep their spirit alive.

Much like Ty, Big Guy Wine has playful flavors and is ever constant. Blended to create an easy drinking red wine with lots of ripe red fruit aromas and flavors, the wine is enjoyable young, while the tannin structure and acidity will allow it to develop gracefully for several years. Big Guy Wine Cellars has committed to donating $2.00 of every case sold to Paws for Purple Hearts, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping service veterans by providing them with the highest quality service dogs and canine assisted therapeutic programs. PPH's goal is to improve the lives of American warriors facing mobility challenges and trauma related conditions such as PTSD and TBI. Big Guy California Cabernet 2017
The Big Guy Cabernet Sauvignon combines full-bodied, mild tannins with a slightly spicy aroma on the nose. Big Guy California Chardonnay 2019
Big Guy' Chardonnay is a lovely straw-colored wine with tantalizing flavors. Green apple, fig, and pineapple and a hint of vanilla are evident. The wine finishes crisp and refreshing on the palate. Big Guy California Red Blend 2020
On the nose the Big Guy California Red Blend opens with sweet oak notes of vanilla accompanied by perfumed, dusted raspberries, underlain with hints of dried cranberry. Well balanced, with a lovely structure, the soft tannins and sweet vanilla oak carry the red fruits, delivering flavors that gently expand on the palate. The result is a Big Guy California Red Blend with plenty of pleasing dark fruit character, notes of sweet wood, moderate tannins and sweetly spiced, juicy fruit that begs for the next sip. This is a wine for every day drinking, whether on its own, on the patio with barbeque, or in the dining room with roasted duck.
