James Suckling Review
Rated 93
This shows lots of spice, berry and walnut character. Currants, too. Medium to full body, tight tannins and a vibrant finish. Needs time to open, but nicely crafted and balanced. Cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc, petit verdot and malbec. Drink after 2023.
Wine Tasting Notes
In the glass, the Q Red Blend is a deep, ruby red color with a vivid purple hue. Aromas of high tone black fruits, maraschino cherries and brown spice are pronounced. The blueberry and red fruit notes are accented by notes espresso and brown spice. The wine is juicy and plush on the palate with blackberry, tea and spice notes evident. The velvet tannins are mouthcoating and leave and almost chocolate note on the long, juicy fruit finish. This wine is incredibly approachable and delicious now but will show well for the next 10 years at minimum.
86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot, 1% Malbec
Alcohol 15%
