Vin Santo is the premier dessert wine of Tuscany. It is made from a combination of Trebbiano, Chardonnay and Sauvignon grapes. It is first aged for 24 months in Italian wine barrels and then for a few months in French oak barrels. The result is a delightful grappa that is clear, fruity and rendolent with the scent of raisins.
