CELLAR SELECTION
Ripe plum, baking spice, menthol and new leather are just some of the aromas you'll find on this fantastic Sangiovese. On the elegantly structured, delicious palate, notes of ground pepper and licorice accent a core of juicy black cherry and crushed raspberry set against a backbone of taut, refined tannins. Fresh acidity keeps it nicely balanced. Drink 2024-2034.

The pinnacle of Salcheto's stunning red wine range, the single-vineyard Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 'Salco' is a brick red color and shows delicious dried and ripe dark cherry fruits on the nose, with a touch of prune and sweet herbal core. There is definitive complexity with savoury aromas of earth, cedar, spices and a warming meatiness and leather. The palate mirrors this but shows great balance with the fruit, and the prunes and warm earth are particularly prominent. The ripe tannins provide great structure, but are softly textured and are in perfect balance with the bright acidity. The finish is lovely and long and leaves you gasping for another sip.
