A very sanguine nose has cranberries, wild cherry and strawberry fruit leather, followed by sun-warmed bricks and top soil. The palate offers more crunchy red fruit, but also fresh, herbal notes of wild fennel and sage with the metallic tang of soil and sharp-edged tannins. Excellent balance and integration.

Argiano Rosso di Montalcino DOC is deep ruby red in color. It is medium bodied with a good concentration on the mid-palate. Elegant in the mouth, it is well balanced with tempting flavors of red berries, violets, menthol and earthiness.A generous wine with smooth, velvety tannins that will satisfy all Sangiovese lovers.
